Update from Maui ~ your daily dose of "vitamin sea"
Things are feeling a bit more positive and hopeful on Maui; beaches have been opened (for a trial period of 2 weeks), and most retail stores have also been reopened (with some rules and regulations). The number of cases in Hawaii is diminishing (with only 2 cases reported on Maui for May so far!), and the weather is beautiful! 
 
 
Maui No Ka ʻOi magazine usually hosts an award Gala to announce the ʻAipono (ʻai - to eat, pono - excellence) Maui Restaurant awards. It was, obviously, cancelled this year, but they still did a themed virtual awards presentation. Check it out to see if your favorite restaurant made the list!
