| We are grateful for a community that will come together and peacefully honor a fellow human being. It is tradition in Hawaii, when someone passes away, to paddle out to pay respect and honor their life. On Saturday, May 31, hundreds of people paddled out at Launiupoko to honor George Floyd and other black lives that were taken too soon through violent acts of racism. We are proud to be a part of a community that will struggle together to bring about equality, freedom and respect for all people. Thank you to @black_sheep_cinema for the amazing capture of the paddle out. |
