Update from Maui ~ your daily dose of "vitamin sea"
Maui isn't just beaches and palm trees. It is also volcanoes and Silversword. 

Did you know that Silversword is endemic to Haleakala? It is the only place on earth that it grows, can live over 90 years and dies after it flowers. 

Have you ever been to Haleakala? It feels like another world entirely, but, so, so beautiful. (Huge mahalo to Linda Chiu and @jonahkirkham for the amazing pictures of Haleakala).
 
However, we also don't want to forget about the beaches and the palm trees...
