Aloha! Another week has flown by and students on Maui are getting ready to start school (some through distance learning, some in regular classrooms).
There are several private schools that opened their doors either this week or the week before and from all reports (there haven't been many, no news is good news!) things are going very well. Cleaning is heightened, masks are required and social distancing is in place whenever possible (try telling two kindergarten students they can't hug, it breaks your heart!).
We are hopeful that numbers will remain low on Maui, that students can stay in their classrooms, and that we can welcome visitors back in the coming months!
