Kathy brings years of Maui real estate experience as a broker and in particular loves working with clients and other REALTORs to meet their needs whether that is attaining the dream of owning a Maui home, upgrading, or having to leave our beautiful island. Kathy grew up as an air force brat and learned early the importance of making each house a home! Kathy believes as we transition through life, your home and properties are foundational to happiness.

Before starting her real estate career on Maui in 2007, Kathy had over 25 years of experience in technology working as a software engineer and in management roles at companies including Lockheed Martin, SuccessFactors and Adobe Systems. After leaving their high-tech careers in Silicon Valley, she and her husband Peter moved to Maui in 2006. With her passion for working with people, and her background in design and architecture, she chose real estate as her next career.

In addition to her real estate career, Kathy is one of the founders and former Executive Director for Grow Some Good - a non-profit that supports over 8000 Maui students in school garden programs every year. 

Married for nearly 30 years to Peter Liu who provides web-hosting and consulting, they share a home in Kihei with 2 feline kids. Kathy’s favorite things are Maui real estate statistics, exploring new tech tools, scuba diving, organic gardening, sustainability and green living advocacy, and great local food!
